What I’m Shopping For: Spring Décor

The weather has been pretty great this winter, but last week just turned a corner. The sun was up longer, the air was warmer, and yesterday I just put out chairs on my front porch!

Spring is a great time to refresh all aspects of your life, including your home décor. Here are some products that I’m eyeing for my own house.

  1. This lamp isn’t new to me, but I just did a shelf refresh, and I think this would look perfect between some of my books. Plus, who doesn’t love lamp lighting?

  2. This piece, I already own. Actually, I have had it for several years, and just barely used it to style my bookshelves. I originally purchased to use as a bookmark on an open book, but because my shelves are so full, there was never space to keep an open book. Now, I have it styled on a stacked book, and I think it’s the perfect accessory.

  3. Still on the bookshelf train: I recently installed these Standing Objects in a client’s project, and I haven’t stopped thinking about them since. I have another project in mind for these again, both the small and the large, and I can’t wait to style them on another shelf. Since that project is currently being framed and still a few months out from styling, I may need to purchase these for myself.

  4. I took a floral arranging class last week and made two bouquets that I gave to friends in this vase. They both turned out really cute, and I liked that you could see the waterline through the glass. I chose the green color to give away, but there was a taller pink version that I am eyeing for myself…

  5. The pink version!

  6. I am never not on the hunt for great candlesticks for my mantle, and how cute are these! The gingham? I die.

  7. I JUST put out my front porch furniture yesterday, and I need a new rug for the space. (Currently using a cotton/wool indoor rug that was inherited from an aunt, and definitely not meant for outdoor use.) I like this one because of its neutral colors and minimal pattern. Just because it’s an outdoor rug, doesn’t mean it has to yell “Floral.”

  8. Desperately in need of a new outdoor accent table for the front porch as well. The current table as been through too many summers, and repainted too many times. This color would go perfectly with the new rug, and how cute are those scallops?

  9. Now that the majority of the spring holidays are over, I need new wall décor to hang by the front door. I was originally thinking an asymmetrical mirror, but then I saw this convex one and loved it even more. I like the idea of a statement, but there is already a lot of art in the front room so it needed to be a mirror. I love the warm color of the glass and think it would be really cool in that space.
